This is my attempt to teach my futureself on how to get back on your feet when nothing feels going in your way, once you start your downfall, you hit rockbottom before you realize, so, it’s important to define what “your” rockbottom is and make sure that is taken care of while you are up there
there will be many reasons why we’ve came to this situation, the immediate goal is to get back on your feet as quickly as possible - Survival
Unfortunately, us humans have created these very high ceilings and forgot to take care of the flooring.
Steps:
- Food, shelter, clothes - make sure you don’t die
- asses your skills - get a temporary job to establish a routine, sharpen your thinking skills - set the expectations, know the expectations with your employer.
- set an end date with the current place you are living - I’m assuming you are with your family or relatives
- clean up your old mess - the situations that brought you to this place. make sure it won’t bite you in the future.
- focus on insurances, starting with health then term life
- kid’s school - don’t worry too much about if they like it or not, it’s going to be an adjustment for everyone.
